Tulsa Triathlon "Returns" to Tulsa for 2008

The 2008 version of the Tulsa Triathlon will return to Tulsa after several years of being completely conducted on a course near Lake Skiatook north of Tulsa. For the 2008 event, the swim will be contested in Lake Skiatook, then athletes will ride back into Tulsa for the run phase which will be held at Tulsa’s beautiful RiverParks along the bank of the Arkansas River.

This change returns the Tulsa Tri to its rich heritage, which for many years featured a swim at Lake Keystone west of Tulsa, followed by a ride back into Tulsa and a run along the Arkansas River. The 2008 event is being managed by Fleet Feet Sports of Tulsa under contract to the Tulsa Area Triathletes. The race will be held on Sunday, June 15, 2008.
